Our Insider Tips on Sydney's Best Venues


One of the hardest things when starting to plan your wedding or event is finding the perfect venue. It’s almost as terrifying as hunting for your ideal apartment in Sydney. There are so many things to consider - the location, price, size and the look and feel of the space... We’ve been in the industry long enough to know that the venue can completely change the atmosphere of an event so it’s absolutely essential that you pick a venue that feels right for you.

What you’re about to read is GOLD.  It's our pick of the best 15 venues in and around Sydney, and a guide on knowing which one might be right for you.


Light and airy and oozing good vibes this venue is one of our go-to favourites. Not only is the space stunning but the food and staff are just above and beyond.


Seadeck, the newest tenant of Sydney Harbour Marina, is a venue permanently cruising through the harbour. There hasn't yet been a wedding on here, so be the first and please bring us on for the ride.

This venue is hot off the press.  It's a brand new space that we’re just dying to get our hands on. It has a cool industrial vibe with exposed timber and natural light. The space has a ‘ballroom-esk’ feel and even has an outdoor terrace overlooking the harbour.


This venue is a little bit of classic chic in the enchanted forest that is Centennial Parklands. We love how the room is filled with floor to ceiling windows and oh so close to some of the most beautiful ceremony spots in the park.



For something a little bit different, this café can turn into a very cool exclusive venue. Our imaginations go wild with the styling potential of this space. Not to mention the staff are lovely and the food is just to die for.


As soon as you walk into the Cell Block Theatre you can feel how special it is. The soaring ceilings and sandstone walls set the scene for a dramatic event that works for either sit-down or cocktail. This venue is a stylist's dream because it is a blank canvas and gives us all day access.


In Walsh Bay at the edge of the harbour, with some of the best Sydney views, lies this gem of a venue. This spot has so much potential and there’s a few different room options depending on your numbers.


Take a little drive out of the city into the highlands and you’ll find this lush little slice of heaven. Bendooley Estate is just perfect for an autumn or winter wedding because the trees turn to the most extraordinary shades of reds and oranges and the barn has a beautiful big fireplace.


It’s less than an hours drive from Sydney but Audley Dance Hall feels like you've properly escaped the city and entered a different world. It's so peaceful, right next to the river and surrounded by the bush, this old school venue lends itself to almost any styling look.



We just love this iconic venue with its glass walls and beautiful Sydney views. It’s super close to the Botanic Gardens so if you’re thinking of having your ceremony there your guests can easily stroll to both locations. It’s suited for intimate groups for a seated dinner or it's also spectacular as a cocktail event. Think cool lounge nooks with cane furniture and lots of blue, green and white.


If a beach front venue with a Hamptons feel is what your after, Dojos is the place for you. With gorgeous views of the ocean, this venue is perfect for either sit down or cocktail style events. We love to fill Dojos with lush greenery and fresh styling to suit the established look and feel.

Not only do we love this venue because it’s on our home turf but it is an empty shell just waiting to be styled. It has a relaxed feel to it and is pretty perfect for a cocktail style wedding with a beachy vibe.



Where do we start with Merribee… There’s so many reason to love this venue from the newly built reception barn, the secret garden and the renovated silo that accommodates the couple. If you’re after a getaway wedding on the south coast we highly recommend this venue.


For the best views of Kangaroo Valley you have got to check out Spring Grove Dairy. There’s a lot of flexibility with this venue to do whatever you please and we can guarantee your wedding photos will be out of this world.


This sailing club is such a unique venue with rustic charm and traditional timber rafters. It’s right on the water, surrounded by boats and a stunning view of Sydney harbour. The jetty offers a pretty cool ceremony aisle...
