It’s no secret that we’re partial to mint green. It is after all our beloved brand colour, chosen for its therapeutic nature and ability to conjure long, ocean swims and the fresh scent of eucalyptus.

No matter the season, mint evokes the charms of spring – a feeling we could use during the doldrums of winter. It’s clean, light and bright, and looks oh-so-pretty paired with pinks, white and grey.

Mint green kitchen

Subtle enough to splash across kitchen cabinets and vibrant enough to brighten a front door or window frame, the mint-y possibilities are endless. It’s refreshing and peaceful, the perfect antidote to the chaos that often surrounds us.

Mint Colour Story

The most wonderful companion to other pastels, mint looks deliciously sweet paired with pale pinks, blues and yellows. Here, we used palest pink roses for an ice-cream inspired arrangement that dispels the wintry gloom.

We’ll leave you with this: a shot from our visit to Brisbane’s Calile Hotel, when the weather was warmer and our diaries full of adventures. For now, we’ll be channelling the European summer with minty hues all around us.
