Ceremony flowers and styling

We’re often asked what colours work well for winter events and weddings. While there’s certainly no single answer – everything from cool blues and icy silvers to pinks and burnt oranges can be worked - there’s something about autumnal-inspired berry hues that warm our hearts and thaw our winter blues.

While true red screams boldness and bravery, berry red is more subdued. It makes a statement but doesn’t steal the show; it adds vibrancy but also feels utterly romantic.

Bask in a rosy glow with our spread of berry inspiration: perfect paired with lighter pinks, earthy tones and moody charcoals.

George & Smee colour story

Berry reds look beautiful styled with paler pinks and soft corals, like we did for Melissa and Joshua’s wedding day, but don’t be afraid to take things more moody and sultry with darker tones, or go bold with a scattering of bright colours.
